The scientific mood is especially marked by a passion for facts, by cautiousness of statement, by clearness of vision, and by a sense of the interrelatedness of things. It is contrasted with the emotional or artistic mood and with the practical mood, but the three form a trinity (of knowing, feeling and doing), which should be unified in every normal life.
